House rules
Content policy
What you may publish on your server's page, and what happens when something does not belong there. It comes down to one line: only material connected to your server.
Images in descriptions and galleries
Everything you attach must be about your server. That is the whole test — if a visitor could not tell why the picture is on your page, it does not belong there.
Allowed
- Screenshots taken on your server
- Maps and map fragments of your world
- Your server logo, banner or emblem
- Artwork made for or commissioned by your server
Not allowed
- Adult, violent, hateful or otherwise inappropriate content
- Someone else's artwork, screenshots or branding published without permission
- Advertising for anything other than the server on the page
- Memes, stock photos and other filler unrelated to the server
- Images that mislead about the server — fake player counts, borrowed screenshots
We do not host your images
There is no upload. You paste an address and we link to it, which keeps the service free and our disks empty — but it has consequences you should know about.
- Addresses must start with https://. A plain http:// image is blocked by the browser on a secure page and would simply not appear.
- If your hosting goes away or the file is renamed, the image breaks on your page. We cannot restore it — we never had a copy.
- Whoever hosts the file can change what it shows at any time. Use hosting you control.
- The same applies to embedded video: YouTube, Vimeo and Streamable links are supported, and the video stays on their service.
Reporting and what happens next
Every server page has a report button under the description and the gallery. You do not need an account to use it.
- Reports go to a moderation queue, not to the server owner. Your report is not shown publicly.
- When a report is upheld, the description and gallery are hidden and the server page falls back to its plain text description. The server stays listed.
- Hiding is reversible. Fix the content, then contact us and we will look again.
- Repeated or deliberate breaches lead to the server being removed from the list.
- Reports are rate-limited per sender. Filing many identical reports does not make one arrive faster.
Honest listings
This part is not new — it is the rule the list has always run on, restated here so everything is in one place.
- Do not falsify player counts, uptime, records or any other statistic. We measure them ourselves and we check.
- Describe the server you actually run: rates, map and PvP type should match what a player finds after logging in.
